On Sukkos - Z'man Simchaseinu for all of Klal Yisroel, Zeh LaZeh goes all out to inject a feeling of simcha into its family of widows and orphans. This much anticipated event generates feelings of joy that last throughout the year.
The boys enjoy a full day outing followed by Mincha at the Kosel. There are simply no words to describe the sight and sound of 600 orphan boys saying Kaddish at the Kosel. CLICK HERE FOR PICTURES
From the Kosel the boys head to the Annual Simchas Beis Hashoeva, hosted and attended by leading Rabbanim, Rosh Yeshivos and Rebbes, for the Widows and their Children in the largest Sukkah in Yerushalayim. It is the highlight of the year, where all members of the family, the widow and her sons and daughters of all ages are served a gourmet meal. All stops are pulled out to provide the best entertainment and program.
This past Sukkos Zeh LaZeh was privileged with the honored presence of the Belzer Rebbe and Rebbetzin who opened the program.
The Belzer Rebbe spoke to the men and boys with warmth and his words of chizuk will certainly sustain each and every one of them through the long winter months ahead. CLICK HERE FOR THE BELZER REBBE'S MESSAGE
The Belzer Rebbetzin's emotionally charged message to the women and girls left hardly a dry eye in the hall. CLICK HERE FOR PICTURES
There is always a magnificent show featuring the best performers and the most popular singers accompanied by Mona Rosenblum's famous orchestra. Among last year's Simchas Beis Hashoeva's featured international personalities were Mordechai Ben David, Shloimy Gertner, Shlomo Simcha and Dedi.
It is impossible to describe in words the feelings of delight as the boys dance together happily with their families and mentors until the wee hours of the morning while the girls and their mothers watch and join in the Simchas Yom Tov from an adjoining hall. CLICK HERE FOR PICTURES
Happiness abounds in all the halls and for one evening at least, some of the unfathomable pain is forgotten.
